Origin Baking Company is owned and operated by Brendan Wong.

His grandparents’ entrepreneurial spirit paved the way for him to become a baker and pursue his own craft. Armed with an education in Food Science and training at the San Francisco Baking Institute, Brendan has worked through Northern California, Tokyo, and Los Angeles so that he can return to his hometown of Orange to share his learnings, passion, and bread with his local community. He owes much of his bread knowledge to other talented bakers from around the world and is inspired by Asian and Latin flavors he enjoyed growing up.

Everyday starts with hours of careful preparation rooted in tradition. We use thoughtfully sourced ingredients to make sure every pastry is made with intention and care. What you enjoy is the result of long hours, skilled hands, and a deep respect for the art of baking. This is because we believe quality is something you can taste.
